This category encompasses case studies from medical herbalists across Ayurvedic, Western herbal and traditional Chinese medical traditions.
Each health story is an anonymised case study that details patients’ initial presentation, past medical history, drug, family, and social histories, and a review of each of the body systems — including any red flags. Differential diagnoses are then discussed, concluding with the working diagnoses from which the treatment plan is derived — this includes herbal treatment, lifestyle advice and any recommendations to seek the care from other healthcare providers.
The patients’ initial prescription cards are shared along with a summary of notes from their first and subsequent follow up appointments, prescriptions and rationale for changes.
