Maithree Bandara

Maithree Bandara is a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science graduate from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, with a strong interest in bridging the gap between traditional herbal medicine and modern biomedical science. I also hold a Diploma in Psychology and Counselling, which has strengthened my understanding of the connection between human health, wellbeing, and holistic approaches to care.

My academic background in biomedical science has developed my knowledge in human biology, disease mechanisms, pharmacology, and evidence-based research, while my passion for medicinal plants has inspired me to explore the scientific foundations behind traditional herbal practices. I am particularly interested in investigating bioactive compounds in medicinal plants and communicating research-based insights in an accessible way.
