Simon Turner

Simon Turner is the Founder and Director of Malaika Honey, a social enterprise established in Uganda in 2006 that works to create sustainable livelihoods through beekeeping, training and the development of high quality bee products.

With almost two decades of practical experience working exclusively in apiculture, Simon has worked extensively with rural beekeeping communities across Uganda and the Rift Valley. He has developed a strong interest in propolis, its traditional uses and its potential as a natural health product. His work combines practical beekeeping knowledge with product development, research and efforts to increase awareness of the value of bee products.
