Sweat (sweda vaha srotas)
The sweat channels (sweda vaha srotas) have their root in the fat tissue, and are responsible for carrying sweat, regulating body temperature, maintaining skin health, and supporting proper moisture and lubrication.
It transports sweat through skin pores, facilitating elimination of fluid waste and heat. They maintain skin immunity, smoothness, and sensory protection. Disorders include excessive, reduced, or irregular sweating, horripilation, burning sensations, and skin dryness.
Imbalances arise from stress, intense exercise, fear, anger, or heat exposure. Treat with proper hydration, balanced diet, and herbal support with usheera (Vetiveria zizanoides) and coriander (Coriandrum sativa), as well as treatment for excess fat tissue.
