Reproductive (shukravaha srotas)
The reproductive channel (shukravaha srotas) transports and nourishes shukra dhatu, the seventh and most refined tissue essential for reproduction and vitality. It encompasses male semen and female ovum, forming from muscle tissue. These channels include testes, seminiferous tubules, vas deferens, and, in females, ovaries and mammary glands.
Healthy shukra sustains fertility, libido, physical strength, mental clarity, creativity, and general vitality, whereas imbalances can cause infertility, reduced energy, emotional instability, or sexual dysfunction.
The reproductive channel specifically nourishes the reproductive tissue, so herbs indicated for reproductive tissue will also be relevant for this channel.
