Robyn Carruthers
Robyn Carruthers is a medical herbalist, naturopath and educator with 25 years of experience. Following a varied prior background in teaching, she began teaching at the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine in 2006, moving on to managing the clinical programme. She took on the role of Chief Executive of SPCNM in 2019.
She was a committee member of the NZAMH for many years, briefly serving as President. She is involved in a number of educational advisory committees in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia. She is very involved in supporting SPCNM’s growing research culture.
Robyn’s passion lies in improving the delivery of educational programmes in herbal medicine and natural medicine in general. She is proud of the calibre of the graduates of SPCNM and looks forward to new ways that herbal medicine can support public health and to progress for the profession.
