I have been actively interested in natural health and nutrition for over a decade and have since studied acupuncture (the NADA protocol and at the Yuan Clinic & Traditional Medicine College) and Thai massage (at the ITM School in Thailand).
It was only after a permaculture design course that my love and fascination for botany and plant science were invoked, which led me to a BSc (Hons) in herbal medicine at the University of Westminster (graduated 2019).
I am passionate about First Aid and hold a level 3 diploma in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) with plans to continue developing my knowledge in this field. I am also a member of Herbalists Without Borders UK and have been providing ongoing acute herbal medicine and First Aid to thousands of refugees in Northern France since October 2019.
My practice as East End Herbalist (in East London) is person-centred and based on the principles of trauma-informed care. The concept of brain-gut-microbiome connection has been of particular interest to my practice as a herbalist.
