Karoline is a herbal research specialist and medical Ayurvedic practitioner. She is passionate about combining modern science-based medical research with the theories of traditional herbal medicine.
Karoline holds a Master in Nutritional Sciences and completed her PhD at the Medical University of Vienna where she was analysing a Chinese herbal formulation and its effects on heart failure. During her time in academia she gained additional knowledge in various fields of plant science at the Section of Comparative and Ecological Phytochemistry and from work experience in India, China, Washington DC, Croatia, Thailand and Costa Rica. Karoline has been working as a nutritional consultant for the last 10 years and worked as an Ayurvedic therapist at the Elisabethinen Hospital in Linz from 2013-15. Combining research, ancient wisdom and clinical experience to reveal the power of plants and sharing this knowledge with people is close to her heart.
